Sumo Sushi and Hibachi

I really love their hibachi shrimp and steak dinner entree. For starters it comes with a cup of delicious mushroom soup, salad and a simple (not greasy) fried rice. The stir fried veggies with the 2 different sauces that accompany the entree are perfect for different flavors. Dipping the shrimp and steak into those sauces will take your tastebuds to euphoria heights! I've dined at their restaurant many times before with my family. I have to say the young couple who own it are very nice and passionate about their awesome restaurant! I can honestly say they're food is so delicious and priced reasonably. 5 stars all the way!

I love that they actually read the comments because I have dietary restrictions (on paleo) so when I say no rice/noodles please but substitute with green veggies or extra meat instead, they listen! and that is exactly what I get! thank you for that!...and when I go to the restaurant to eat there, the hostess is so nice! always smiling! always so warm and courteous...they are the best

Best sushi I've found in Lake View! Living in Boston for several years made me a bit of a seafood snob so I tried several sushi places before I became a Sumo regular. The Alaska Roll and Crazy Salmon Roll are my favorite.

I order from this place literally 2-3 times a week. The food is always delicious, they always get my order right, and they're pretty good at getting your food to you quickly. I could not recommend this restaurant more!!

Sumo Sushi and Hibachi is the only hibachi style Japanese fried rice I've ever been able to find in the city. Other Japanese restaurants say they have hibachi style fried rice but it just never tastes the same.
